Although Yad Sarah is best known for lending durable medical equipment, volunteersalso provide in-home geriatric dental care, advocate for victims of elder abuse, drivechildren and adults with special needs to school, work, doctor and social visits inour wheelchair-accessible vans, and help people recover and restore independentfunctioning through our Day Rehabilitation centers.Yad Sarah’s free services are delivered by 6,000 volunteers in more than 100 branches,bringing hope and help to the frail elderly, the homebound, victims of terror attacksand children with special needs.Yad Sarah programs and services are provided to all without regard to race, religion, political affiliation, socio-economic status, gender, family composition. Training and expert advice is provided to countries in Africa and world-wide.
